Time Tracking IMPROVEMENTS

Feature Request

  • Move the time tracking up and together with title, etc.

  • Remove the “Submit timesheet” and let us record multiple times the “time tracking” for a task. Also, edit/delete time tracking for a task. Timesheet could be calculated from all these entries, don’t need any “submit timesheet” button.

  • Add analytics of time tracked based on time (today, this week/month, last week/month), member, client, etc.

  • Really important (!) if you could implement this: Client projects has X time included (as credit). Tracking time will decrease automatically that credit/time.

  • Here’s a great example of how Clickup is approaching this:

    Here’s a couple more ideas. Include an option for time tracking at the sub task level. Include time tracking for each task in the list view (one less click into the task).

    Reporting on utilization (billable client hours divided by total hours worked)

    Include an estimated hours field for each task and compare actual logged hours to estimated hours.

    Include employee/contractor hourly wages. Combined with hours worked can then report on profitability
