I figured out how to get that working for monthly subscriptions, but for one-off bigger projects we offer 12 installments (or more commonly you see 3 installments or one lesser upfront price).
We would just need an expiration or 'expire after 12 payments' like you can do in Quickbooks Recurring Invoicing.
